Acupuncture, Good Health and Well Being

Acupuncture is an ancient form of healthcare which originated in the Far East several thousand years ago and is now practised all over the world. It encourages the body to heal itself. There is an increasing awareness and growing recognition in the west of the use of acupuncture as an effective treatment for a wide range of conditions, including pain, stress, fertility and more.

With the use of MRI scans, research has suggested that acupuncture triggers the body’s healing process by calming the central nervous system, regulating hormones and releasing endorphins, all of which can also help strengthen the human body to resist diseases.

What patients say....

"I initially visited Michelle as I was undergoing IVF treatment and acupuncture is a great complementary therapy to this. I was struggling emotionally and I found that acupuncture wasn't just beneficial for my physical well being, but also for my emotional well being. The treatments really helped to keep me centred and calm throughout. Michelle is a gentle and caring practitioner which is just what I needed, and I can't recommend her services enough."

SL, Guildford
"Michelle comes highly recommended. I had never had acupuncture before and the benefits from treatment have been wonderful. For me she has particularly helped with fertility issues, anxiety and back pain.”
